WHERE ARE YOU ON THE JOURNEY OF FAITH?
Whether you have been a faithful Catholic or have recently returned to your faith, whether you went to Catholic school or religious education/faith formation classes as a child, there is still so much to learn about Catholicism!

The spiritual journey is an on-going and life-long chance to grow in the knowledge and love of God. Essentially, all of us need an adult perspective on God and the Church in order to sustain our faith for a lifetime.

ON-GOING WAYS TO GROW SPIRITUALLY

Serenity Day is a half-day quiet retreat designed to deepen our relationship with God through directed conferences, reflection time, and prayer. Dates and times are published in the parish calendar.

Women of Wisdom is a group committed to helping women of all ages and backgrounds grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Books that focus on issues that encourage, renew, strengthen, and unify women in their commitment to God, family, church and community are shared. The group meets weekly on Wednesday mornings in Knight Hall.  Please check the Parish Calendar for dates and times.

Spiritual Direction, the process of “holy listening” and companionship on the spiritual journey from trained individuals, is available from a number of qualified persons in the parish.  Simply call or contact the Faith Formation Office for more information. 949-496-6011 or email: faithformation@stedward.com

Infant being baptized
INFANT BAPTISM ~ FAITH FORMATION FOR PARENTS AND GODPARENTS
When a baby is born, it’s time to celebrate! Infant baptism is the first step on the journey of faith, chosen by parents to begin the process of Christian initiation which will last a life-time. Even though you may have been educated through Catholic schools, there is still more to learn about what it means to share your faith with a child.

Classes for parents and godparents are held once a month, usually on the last Thursday of the month (with some variations) from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00.

Baptisms are celebrated on the first and third Sundays of each month at 2:30 p.m.

To schedule and/or to find out more information, call the Faith Formation Office. Link to More information and registration: Baptism Page
