Fr. Greg Boyle
Father Greg Boyle is an American Jesuit priest and founded Homeboy Industries in 1988 in Los Angeles, the largest gang-intervention rehabilitation and reentry program in the world. He received the California Peace prize and was inducted into the California Hall of Fame. In 2014, the White House named him Champion of Change and in 2024, awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Homeboy Industries provides hope, training and support to formerly gang-involved and recently
incarcerated men and women, allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community. Each year over 9,000 people walk through their doors. In addition to serving over 7,700 community clients, their flagship 18 month re-entry program is offered to over 400 men and women each year. In 2014, they went global and became the blueprint for over 250 organizations.

Father Boyle’s latest book “Cherished Belongings” will be available for purchase at the event.
